Van Metre School of Dance has been a Maryville institution since 1958. They offer quality dance education in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary for all ages — from toddlers to teens. Founded by Cheryl Van Metre, the school is also home to the Appalachian Ballet Company. They run summer dance camps every July and August, which are popular with local families. The downtown location on West Broadway is easy to pair with other downtown stops.
