♟️ The Knight School Youth Chess Program
The Knight School is a youth chess program offered through Blount County Parks & Recreation at Springbrook Recreation Center. Open to ages 5–14, the program teaches chess as "the official chess team and chess party" — a unique approach that blends learning with team spirit. Kids work toward earning all 25 TactixBands to receive the rare black shirt and be admitted to "The Masters." The program runs as part of the Parks & Rec youth programs schedule.
