Looking for something active and unique this spring? Give It a Tri is a fun, supportive introduction to swimming, biking, and running designed specifically for youth athletes ages 8-12.

Led by Camp Director Coach Kat Uchman (USA Triathlon Certified, Olympic Cycling Coach), this camp gives young athletes the chance to learn triathlon fundamentals in a safe, encouraging environment. Athletes of all ability levels are welcome - no prior triathlon experience required.

What happens: Each day kids practice all three disciplines and learn how to transition between them. The week concludes with a Mock Triathlon on Thursday where athletes put their new skills together in a fun, confidence-building event. Family and friends are invited to attend and cheer them on!

Pro tip: This is perfect for kids who might be intimidated by a full competition triathlon but want to build confidence with all three sports. The small group coaching means personalized attention.

When: June 15-18, 2026 (4 days Mon-Thurs) Time: 9:00 AM - Noon (Mon-Wed), 10:30 AM - Noon (Thursday mock triathlon) Cost: $100 (includes camp keepsake) Location: John Sevier Pool/Park area - drop-off and pick-up at John Sevier pavilion
