New Era Martial Arts is a family-focused martial arts school serving Alcoa and the broader Maryville area. Founded by Joe LaVallee, the school offers programs for all ages — from the Ninja Program for ages 5–7 through kids, teen, and adult classes.

The kids program blends self-defense with traditional martial arts values like discipline, respect, and confidence-building. It is designed for children who need a structured, positive environment to develop physical coordination and mental focus. Parents can watch early classes and even join adult sessions.

Beyond kids martial arts, New Era offers a teen program and an adult kickboxing/MMA program for all fitness levels. No long contracts or high-pressure sales — just a welcoming dojo where the whole family can train together.
