Here's a Maryville mom hack: every Saturday night from 6-9pm, Peaceful Side Brewery features local artists playing live music. And yes, this is genuinely family-friendly (at least the earlier slots!) - I've brought my kids multiple times when they were younger.
The brewery has a great outdoor patio where the music plays, plus a playground area nearby so the little ones can burn off energy while you enjoy a coffee or kid-friendly drink. They also serve food, so you can grab dinner and make it an easy Saturday evening.
I've caught some really talented local musicians here - it's one of those small-town Maryville moments where you realize how much good local talent we have. The vibe is relaxed, everyone's friendly, and it's become this nice Saturday tradition for lots of local families.
Pro tip: If you're going with little ones, aim for the 6-7pm slot when it's still clearly family time. After 8pm it gets more...adult. But either way, it's a great way to experience local music support the community, and it's completely free!
Parking note: There's street parking on Everett Ave and some lot parking nearby. I've found spots easily most Saturdays, though the later slots on nice weather weekends can fill up.
