A family-owned, retro 50's-style diner just outside downtown Maryville in Alcoa, Hot Rods is a favorite stop for kids who love the neon signs and the old-school pinball machines up front. Step through the door and you are back in a drive-in-era diner.
What makes it a good pick for families: the burgers are 100% Angus chuck, hand-pattied on-site, and meats are cooked and sliced in-house daily. The menu is broad enough that picky eaters have real options - chicken fingers, sandwiches, and classic sides like hand-cut fries, fried green beans, and cheese curds.
