Eight acres of park space on both sides of Westfield Drive, John Sevier Park is one of the most popular family destinations in Maryville — and for good reason. It is home to John Sevier Pool (open May 15 through August 2, 2026) and a splash pad that has been under construction for the 2026 summer season.
Park amenities: - Pavilion with 8 picnic tables (1 ADA accessible) and 1 electrical outlet - Charcoal grills nearby - Playground - The pool and splash pad make this a go-to on hot summer afternoons
Pool details: - Open daily during summer season (May 15 – August 2, 2026) - Regular business hours, open Memorial Day and 4th of July weather permitting - Lap swim times available during season - The pool will remain open one extra weekend: August 8-9
Great for kids of all ages. The splash pad is a favorite for toddlers and younger kids who want to cool off without dealing with the pool rules. The playground nearby keeps older siblings occupied. Bring a towel, sunscreen, and a chair for the pavilion — it fills up fast on weekends.
