WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is an upside-down indoor amusement park devoted to "edu-tainment" — more than 100 hands-on, interactive science exhibits spread across 42,000-plus square feet that challenge the mind and spark imagination. Kids can explore physics and light in the Wonder Zones, battle in a black-lit laser tag arena, climb a glow-in-the-dark indoor ropes course four stories above the ground, spin in the Astronaut Training Gyro, and catch a show in the 4D XD Motion Theater. Height and weight restrictions apply to several attractions (for example, the ropes course and Wonder Coaster require climbers/riders to be at least 3′6″ to 4′0″ tall, depending on whether they ride with an adult). A great rainy-day or family outing about 30–45 minutes from Maryville. Parking is free on site. Note: the attraction uses flashing lights and motion that may not be suitable for visitors with certain sensitivities.
