The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame (WBHOF) in Knoxville is the only museum in the world dedicated to the history of all levels of women's basketball — and it's refreshingly kid-friendly. Kids get in FREE under age 5, and everyone can shoot around in the interactive exhibits. Walk through the Modern Locker Room to hear real locker-room speeches from coaching legends like Pat Summitt, test your dribbling in interactive displays, and check out memorabilia from the WNBA, college basketball, and the U.S. Olympic teams. The Pat Summitt Legacy exhibit and the 1996 Olympic Team trailblazers display are standouts for families, and the gift shop is a fun stop on the way out.

Most families spend 1–2 hours here, and admission is affordable: $7.95 adults, $5.95 seniors and children (ages 6+), and children under 5 are free. Parking is free on-site and the Hall is fully ADA accessible. They also host youth events and welcome school and team group visits — great for a little basketball-loving kid or a rainy-day outing about 20 minutes from Maryville.
