The Cades Cove Museum, operated by the Cades Cove Preservation Association, offers visitors a glimpse into the rich history and culture of the Smoky Mountains region. Housed in the historic Thompson-Brown House in Maryville, the museum showcases a collection of old and new photos, history, genealogy, and current events related to Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains. Free admission with donations welcomed. Volunteers staff the museum. There is also a gift shop where visitors may purchase guidebooks and souvenirs.
