Starting April 16th, 2026, downtown Maryville kicks off its second season of 3rd Thursdays - think art walk meets live music meets family fun. Every third Thursday of the month (April through October) from 5:30-7:30 pm, you can explore downtown shops, grab dinner at one of the restaurants, and enjoy live music and live painting demonstrations in many of the establishments.
Why moms love it: It's free entertainment that actually works with family schedules. Your kids get to see artists create in real time, you get to shop local, and everyone gets to stretch their legs after being cooped up in school.
Pro tip: Make an evening of it - grab dinner at one of the downtown restaurants before or after the art walk. The whole thing takes maybe an hour if you walk at a leisurely pace with kids.
