MLK Youth Summer Day Camp
The MLK Center Youth Summer Day Camp runs Monday through Friday for most of the summer, offering a full week of activities including literacy programs, computer lab, swimming, field trips, outdoor activities, games, and arts & crafts.
Ages: 5–12 Dates: May 26 – July 2, 2026 (Mon–Fri, except first and last weeks due to holidays) Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 209 E. Franklin Street, Alcoa, TN Cost: $60 per child per week ($48 for first and last weeks) What to bring: A sack lunch and water bottle every day Registration: Pre-registration and payment required at the Parks & Rec Administrative Office before each week starts. Limited space available.
The camp runs at the MLK Community Center, which is centrally located in Alcoa and easily accessible from Maryville. This is a great option for working parents who need reliable childcare through most of the summer.
