Santa Mouse Christmas House 2026: The Blount County Arts & Crafts Guild Holiday Show (Nov 19-21)

October 01, 2026 · by Mary

If you have ever wondered where the really nice handmade Christmas gifts in this county come from - the ones that make it look like you went somewhere fancy when you actually shopped local - it is probably from the Santa Mouse Christmas House. The Blount County Arts & Crafts Guild has been doing this show for more than two decades, and it is back for its 21st year this November.

When and where The show runs Thursday, November 19 through Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Fairview United Methodist Church, 2508 Old Niles Ferry Rd, Maryville, TN 37803. Thursday and Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and parking are both free.

What you will find More than 50 artisans who belong to the Guild set up booths inside the church. Expect basketry, jewelry, gourd art, paintings, woodworking, glasswork, and plenty of knitted and sewn items - plus holiday crafts and ornaments that are great for kid-made-looking gifts without the glitter mess in your own kitchen. It is one of the largest craft shows in the area, so leave a little extra time to wander.

Why it is worth bringing the kids This is the kind of show where kids can actually watch people make things. There is usually enough variety that you can park them at a table of ornaments while you circle back to the basket that got away. And since it is run by a local guild that has long supported art programs in Blount County Schools, every dollar you spend feels a little more like it is staying in the community.

Plan ahead Unlike a lot of holiday markets, this one is in mid-November - a good six weeks before Christmas. That makes it the perfect stop for knocking out handmade gifts before the holiday rush really hits. The church parking lot handles the crowd, but the Saturday morning hours tend to be the busiest.
