A few camps still have dates to be announced — the linemen football school, wrestling camp, and Ninja Warrior Tumbling Camp (NEW). Check back on the Parks & Rec summer camps page for updates.

My Take

Blount County Parks & Rec camps are hands-down the most affordable option in the area. The cheapest camp runs $50 for four days of soccer instruction. The most expensive — the 5-hour Superhero Academy at $160 — still undercuts most private day camps by half. The MLK Youth Day Camp at $60 a week is an incredible value for five full days of programming.

The tradeoff: space is limited, registration fills fast, and some camps (like Chickababa and MLK) require in-person registration. Start here before the private camps — especially if budget matters to you this summer.

All dates and pricing are current as of May 23, 2026, from the official Blount County Parks & Rec website. Programs are subject to change — double-check before registering.
