Nestled right in the heart of downtown Maryville on High Street, Shimmer Hair Spa is where I go when I need to treat myself. There's something about sitting in their chair. somewhere on that corner where High meets Court, right in the bustling downtown scene. that makes me feel like I've had a real spa day, even when I'm just getting a trim.
They're an ICONE Concept Salon, which for me means their hair color products are ammonia-free, PPD-free, and formulated with natural additives. My hair has been through a lot over the years. between the kids, the stress, and my own questionable decisions about whether I should try that "dimensional" color. and I appreciate that they use products that rejuvenate rather than damage.
The services they offer cover all my needs: haircuts and styling, color and highlights (including their signature ICONE color), waxing, facials, and even microblading if you're feeling adventurous. I've seen their Instagram and their work is solid. They use only high-quality, eco-friendly products, and honestly, the whole place feels relaxing and professional.

They're located right in that brick building on the corner, easy to find and easy to park near. Walk-ins are welcome, which is great when I just need a touch-up and don't want to plan too far ahead.
